Mike Corrin serves as a President and the Chief Operating Officer of SDL. Since joining the firm in 1982, he has played a key role in its growth and success. Mike brings decades of leadership and technical expertise, guiding SDL’s strategic vision and overseeing daily operations to maintain the firm’s reputation for innovative design, cutting-edge research, and exceptional client service. His experience spans healthcare, hospitality, parking, and office sectors, with a strong focus on leading projects from concept to completion. He has a B.S. from NC State and an M.S. from Cornell. He is an active member of ACI, AISC, ASCE (Life Member), TNSEA, and NCSEA. Outside of work, Mike mentors high school students, contributes to the Boy Scouts of America, and has served as President of the Brentwood High School band boosters.
