Mark Hilner is a Principal in our Nashville office and is responsible for client relations, project design, and coordination, and leads a team of engineers, modelers, and detailers. His expertise includes single-story to mid-rise buildings in steel, concrete, masonry, and wood, covering new sites, additions, and renovations. Mark's projects encompass healthcare, office, education, parking, residential, hospitality, and government sectors, with a focus on structural modifications for medical imaging and treatment technology. He joined SDL in 1995. Mark earned his B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech. He is trained in ATC 20 Post-Earthquake Safety Evaluations of Buildings and is a member of ASCE, ACI, and AISC. He also coaches youth soccer, leads children's activities at his church, and participates in the ACE Mentoring program for high school students.
